CCHF’s Annual Holiday Event

Volunteers Needed!

Santa and his helpers—including River Cats mascot Dinger—will be handing out more than just toys, groceries and other goodies during our annual Holiday Event on Saturday, December 5th at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento. The event itself will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and only people who registered by the November 19th deadline will be able to stop by and get the goodies.

CCHF needs your help to make the event a success. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to noon and from noon to 3 p.m. to help with setup, traffic management, gift and goodies distribution and of course, clean up.

Please help us make this a memorable holiday event for the more than 80 kids who will be getting gifts that day—as well as for the many families who will be getting bags of groceries, goodie bags and family entertainment boxes. People who work both shifts will get some goodies themselves.

Volunteers will be provided with masks and other safety equipment and all county public health protocols will be observed. (Please note, there will be no place for younger children while you are volunteering. Older kids can help out if accompanied by their parents, but there will not be any daycare available and only people working on the event will be allowed to remain onsite.)

If you can help, please click on the button below and send us an email address to let us know of your availability. Thanks!
