May 5, 2014, marked the beginning of this year's Future Leaders Program which culminated in the joint legislative day on Wednesday, May 7th.
This program is sponsored by the Hemophilia Council of California, in partnership with the other chapters in the state. Youth aged 13 to 18 participate in advocacy training over two days and then put their training to work, leading groups of patients, families, industry and friends who meet with legislators and legislative staff on Wednesday.

Join us for the Future Leader Program!
Each year young men and women ages 14-22 come together from all over California to Sacramento for a unique learning experience. The program starts at 6:00 PM Monday, May 11 and ends at 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Sacramento, California. The Hemophilia Council of California pays for all expenses for travel to and from Sacramento, meals, and accommodations.
