It's Gonna Be Spooktacular!

No way around it. 2020 has been a pretty crummy year for kids in the bleeding disorders community! “Distance learning” instead of classroom education. Virtual camps with virtual bonfires and virtual smores?? And things are not looking much better for one of kids’ favorite times of the year: Halloween.

Enough is enough! CCHF can’t end the limitations on in-person events, but with the help of our friends at Octapharma and HFHealthcare, we can make sure that the kids in our community don’t totally lose out on Halloween and trick-or-treating. We are going to conduct our first “Spooktacular.” It will be a free, virtual Halloween party on Friday evening, October 30th, at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

Spooktacular will be a chance for kids in our community to visit with friends, have some fun and alarm their parents (just a little) by stuffing gobs of tasty treats into their mouths—treats that we’re going to send them in a special Trick or Treat Box.  There will be games, contests (costumes and door decorating) and even an activity to help parents get into the Halloween “spirit” (or should we say “spirits”?). No formal presentations, just fun.

Advance registration is required and the event is open only to residents of CCHF’s service area. The deadline for signing up is October 13th. That will give us enough time to go shopping for the goodies and then ship them to everyone in time for the event. To register, just click on this button:
